Kayaking on the river Cautin 

In the upper course of the river with access in Malalcahuello and exit in "Piedra cortada", there are difficulties of maximum 3 degrees but normally the river has 2 degrees of difficulty with an open scenery.

At "Piedra cortada" there is a good possibility to disembark. After about 5 km begins the most difficulty episode with 5 degrees of difficulty and many rocks. In these part we nearly don´t have any possibility to disembark until the waterfall "princesa". From here the river will be a lot easier.

The next 10 km until the exit near to the hotel you will find a river of 3 and 4 degrees who passes through a wonderful landscape and a forest until the next bridge.

During the following 10 km the river has mostly difficulties of 2 and 3 degrees, like the following 15 km to the bridge Cautin (of the road from Curacautin to Lautaro). From here the river calmes down and marches to "Rari Ruca".

The country-side around the Cautin is wonderful and a real enjoyment because the way leads through native forests and some canyons.
